I sooo miss living by the sea. Iām lucky enough to have a decent size garden in deepest suburbia with 2 mature oaks, a horse chestnut and a silver birch plus lots of shrubs. My approach to gardening is so whatās right for the wildlife, and we have a lot of birds and beasts visiting our patch. My bigger wild space is Windsor Great Park or if i need wilder places I drive down towards Avebury

Ooh I have those trees too!! The conkers on the horse chestnut are coming on nicely. I will be writing about them soon.
The birds and squirrels ate most of the blossoms on mine this year - there wonāt be many conkers this time
Nature is my happy place too.
