I love the tenacity of plants. I love seeing new green shoots combat pristine human areas, dandelions, buddleja, grasses, ivy. Despite all we (and the weather) throws at them, they keep coming back, thank god.
I saw lightning hit into the sand right in front of me. Nature is beautiful and very scary sometimes, makes us all feel very small and helpless but still very breathtakingly beautiful
I can't remember specifically, but I am always amazed and a bit in awe of some little bug which is tottering along in a determined fashion. Sometimes you've no idea where they came from, or where they're going. Just making their own way, not interested in the fact you're watching them.
I know who you mean Rose. I particularly admire a woodlouse. With 14 legs to contend with, they know what conditions are best for them and they strive to find their patch to survive.
