I started digging the new pond last week and was so happy to hear the increase in birdsong. Including the parakeet 😆. And they are starting to squabble a bit. Spring is definitely on the way.

Too many faves to say, but I’d love to see the black cap that I can hear 🎶

I've never seen a black cap Sally. According to the RSPB they are known as the Northern Nightingale, a lovely title don't you think?

They do have a most beautiful song. We had a pair at the old house who were quite grumpy on the feeders but I think I’ve only seen the male here once. So far.

What a lovely reading! I really enjoyed et visual meditation. I love blue tits and robins but my favorite birds to follow are crows. They are so clever and silly, always making me chuckle.

So glad you enjoyed the guided visualisation Birgit. Watch this space....

I love the crow family too. I once had a "conversation" with a Raven. 😁

We get lots of blackbirds in the garden, they love grated cheese.

My favourite bird? It makes me think of when my husband and I went to the Rifle Bird Sanctuary outside Vancouver, and there were lists posted of all the birds people had seen. Bill looked at me, and said, "Well, I've seen a duck!" (I think we saw a robin too.) We're not very good on birds!
