I'm always excited to find a dandelion in my garden because my guinea pigs love them so I can never have enough of them. I don't really have many weeds in my garden as I mulch everything so I've never felt a particular dislike to any or ever had a problem with them. I don't keep a lawn either so have no bones to pick with any plants that might spoil its aesthetics.
It is great that you welcome them into your garden as part of the landscape. I'm sure your guinea pigs are very grateful for their delicacy you feed them. ✨❇️
I love dandelions. I used to have a pet rabbit who also loved dandelions!
It's very noticeable that there are far fewer small beetles and flies on most dandelions (here up in Edinburgh) than there used to be. As well as a noticeable decrease in larger insects.
I love dandelions! I spent this morning peering into them to find and photograph insects- so many different species. Bumblebees, honey bees, mining bees, drone flies, hoverflies, butterflies, slugs, midges, alder flies, tiny beetles to name but a few. Got some brilliant pics. And I love the “clocks.”
Well, they certainly are determined, those dandelions! I must admit, I've never tried eating them, although I have read how good they are supposed to be. I guess I've been trained from a very early age to consider them weeds. But they certainly are Nature's survivors! Never mind fertilizer, plumping them up and worrying about if they have enough sun, enough water. They will live, no matter what!

Maybe we need to plant more dandelions for them.
Love, love LOVE these plants. They are putting on such an amazing display right now!
I know, I'm tempted to get creative and make a flower circle with them.
Love this idea. Please do share if you do!
I will Melissa, I love getting creative with natural materials.

They are very special aren’t they? 😁

I love their tenacity and their good souls.
